Incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. I wanted to elaborate a bit on my review. You can tell right away that Grover really has a passion for stringed instruments. He loves to share his passion and has been able to turn that into a business that is very ethical and fair. He even shared some stories about how he has modified instruments to allow people with disabilities to learn or continue playing.

I currently rent a cello from Classical Strings for my daughter, and it's a real pleasure to work with this business. I recently decided to get my old violin out of storage, and I took it to Classical Strings for maintenance and repair. The owner, Grover Wilhelmsen, talked me through my options, and then completed the work at a fair price and in a timely manner. I am no violinist, by any means, but I have really enjoyed playing again, and Classical Strings made that possible.

Grover was absolutely amazing with my violins! I had pretty easy fixes for him, but he took his time and made me feel like my concerns were his top priority. Great experience! Was looking for a Cello for my 7 yr old daughter, he was very thorough with me about the instruments (I don't know much about them) he tried multiple cellos to make sure that it was a good fit for her; He also let her play (and helped her).
